Built on 40+ years of industry expertise, JRT Supplies has grown from a one-man start-up in 1983 to become one of the UK's leading building materials distributors. Still proudly family-run, we combine decades of hands-on building knowledge with personal service.

A family business with father, daughter and son-in-law committed, dedicated and willing to go the extra mile.

From a humble background, John left school at the age of 15. He then secured an apprenticeship in the building industry where he gained extensive knowledge in structural and construction development.

Afterwards, John attended night school to achieve a business education certificate. John then devoted his time as a builder and then as a sales representative within the building industry.

In 1983, John established JRT Supplies; a company supplying materials to builders’ merchants.

This company is now a family owned and operating business with his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Mathew.
